A Swedish company has been contracted with supplying and installing equipment needed for Thilafushi incineration facility.
In a ceremony held at STELCO today, Environment and Energy Minister Thoriq Ibrahim signed the contract on behalf of the Environment Ministry while Peter Swenson signed on behalf of the Swedish company.
Under this agreement, equipment will be supplied and staffs will be trained to operate them. The total cost of the project is 1,759996.00 dollars. This project should be finished within 5 months as per the contract.
