Housing Minister Dr.Muizzu have said that the government has decided to contract Sierra a Sri Lankan company in developing the streets of Addu.
Speaking at a rally held at Addu last night by PPM, the minister said that soon they will start the road development project and that the president gives a high priority to this project.
“President Yameen doesn’t make empty promises. It is evident from the developmental projects” said the minister.
In addition he said that the sewage system is being developed and right now they are in the tender process of the Feydhoo housing development project as well.
Furthermore he said that the flats in Hithadhoo and Hulhumeedhoo will be awarded before the end of this year.
While the sewage system development work of Feydhoo, Maradhoo, and Maradhoo Feydhoo is being done by MTCC the sewage system development work of Hulhumeedhoo is being done by Sierra. All these projects were officially inaugurated in last April.
