The supplementary budget for this year by the government is to be submitted to the parliament on 24th October.
On the same session, the budget report of the 2018 Auditor General’s Office budget will be submitted to the parliament floor.
Previously government members talked about the supplementary budget however they did not reveal any details of the budget. This is the first time a supplementary budget is being proposed since President Yameen assumed office. The president talked about a supplementary budget last year as well but did not submit it.
This year’s budget was 26.7 billion Rufiyaa.
