Jumeirah Maithiri team has won the Jumeirah Boli Cup. The team won the final match by scoring 3 goals. The man of the match was Ageel of Jumeirah Maithiri team.
The champion team was given 15,000 Rufiyaa and additional 10,000 Rufiyaa by the GM of the resort. The runner-up team was given 7000 Rufiyaa. The best player of the tournament was Ibrahim Hassan of Vaadhoo. The top five players of the tournament are Easa, Mujuthaba, Arif and Nimal Ahmed.
Four resorts nearby Jumeriah Took part in this tournament. Previously the tournament was held for only teams from Jumeirah however this year’s tournament was open to teams from other resorts. This is the biggest tournament of this kind organized by a tourist resort in the Maldives. They plan to invite more teams for next year’s tournament.
