Dhiraagu has added new 12 channels to Dhiraagu TV. Even now Dhiraagu TV has 80 channels. Dhiraagu says that these new 12 channels will be available for no extra charge and all these channels are HD.
The newly added channels are premium channels of Sony Pictures Network. These includes Sony Pix, Sony Plus HD, Sony Rox, Sonny BBC Earth, and Sonny Ten 2.
In a ceremony held at Dhiraagu Head Office today to launch the channels, the Director of Business Develop of Sony Pictures Network India, Sushil Singh said that there will be 34 channels in the Sony Network including HD Channels. He said that they have been providing services in the Maldives for 12 years now.
He said that being able to show their channels through Dhiraagu TV is like having a partnership with Dhiraagu.
