Secretory General of JP, Ahmed Sameer have said that what happened to the money allocated for political parties needs to be checked.
Sameer said that the money allocated for political parties should be given within the first three months of the year.
“Last year the money was given at the end of the year. This year they have not given it” said Sameer.
Meanwhile the government have stated that they have given the money, but the parties deny this. Sameer said that the government is holding this money so that the parties cannot be politically active.
