Maldivian Immigration have changed medical regulations for Bangladeshi workers. They will no longer have to do medicals after arriving in Maldives.
According to Immigration, they decided to do this after Immigration started using pre-departure security screening system.
However even now, the workers will have to do medicals from Bangladesh and submit it when applying for work visa. Furthermore, according Immigration they will perform random checks and also the employer have the rights to request for medical checkups as well.
In addition, according to Immigration officials, they will receive a medical report that is accepted by HPA before the worker arrives in Maldives.
Bangladeshi workers no longer have to do medicals after arriving in Maldives !
