CEO of MPL, Ibrahim Abdul Razzaq Haleem has won the CEO of the year award at the South Asian Partnership Summit and Business Excellence Awards held in Dhaka, Bangladesh last night. He won the Best CEO award from infrastructure and logistics category.
Haleem was appointed as MPL CEO in March 2017. Since then he has brought many developments leading to operational excellence in MPL. Previously he was the CEO of MTCC, and MD of MRDC as well. He brought various changes to these companies as well and generated a record amount of profit for these companies. MTCC conducted various projects during Haleem’s tenure as CEO.
Haleem was appointed to MRDC on June 2016 and at the time the company was running at a loss. Under his tenure the company made profits for the first time.
Haleem also filled senior positions at the President’s Office. He has a masters degree in Public Policy and Management from the Development Institute of South Korea. In addition he has a bachelors degree in Statistics, Mathematics, and Computer Science.
South Asian Partnership Summit and Business Excellence is organized by World HRD Congress and has been held since 2015.
The award is endorsed by Asian Confederation of Business and the purpose of the award is to recognize successful individuals in business and management. This award is a notable award in the region. The nominees for the award are selected by a list of judges appointed by World HRD Congress and Asian Confederation of Business.
