President Yameen have said that the opposition do not talk about the massive development projects conducted by the government not because they do not see it or benefit from it.
Speaking at the ceremony held to officially inaugurate the sewage system of Dh.Maaemboodhoo the president said that he visits islands to inaugurate projects finished by the government and no one says that the people do not need these developments.
President Yameen said that even the placards used in opposition protests does not say that they do not need these projects. “They stand faraway with these placard and hence I cant read it from a distance” said the President.
President said that the opposition requests the public not to take part in inauguration ceremonies of completed developmental projects yet they ask the people to benefit from these projects completed by his government.
President Yameen said that the opposition are forced to change their tunes since they can no longer say that the government cannot complete massive projects. In addition he said that since the opposition keeps changing their political ideology they don’t have anything constructive to say.
