Qatar Airways has made 2 records in one day.
Qatar Airways started operating A350 series airplane to Maldives and this is the first plane of this series to operate to Maldives and to this region.
Qatar Airways operates to 9 airports in India, but they do not operate A350 to India.
The second record is to have Tholhath Anwar of S.Hulhudhoo as the Captain of the flight. He is the longest serving Maldivian captain in foreign airlines.
Speaking to the media the Chief Executive of Qatar Airways, Al-Bakr said that Maldives is one of the most important destinations of Qatar Airways and that they always try to improve their quality of services.
“We are proud to operate A350 series planes to Maldives” said Al-Bakr.
It is a huge honor to be regarded as the most important destination by such a prestigious airline such as Qatar Airways.
MACL also thanked and welcomed Qatar Airways for their decision to operate A350 to Maldives.
