Diabetes Association of Maldives and Health Ministry have started a fund-raising program called “Save a diabetic child”.
The fund raiser was inaugurated by Health Minister Abdullah Nazim. As part of the program, they have started selling a wrist band. It will be available from Health Ministry and HPA.
Speaking about the event, Diabetic Society stated that 24th of December is diabetic day and that they plan to conduct a special fair that day.
Information about nutrition and healthy living will be provided during the fair.
