The director of National Counter Terrorism Center, General Brigadier Zakariyya Mansoor have said that to protect the nation, every should have a decent standard of living.
Speaking at a ceremony held tonight to mark victory day, Zakariyya Mansoor said that there should be no reason for hatred and enmity among people of Maldives.
“Maldivians follow one religion. There are no different religions or sects. However there are people who try to create divisions in the country. We should stop that” said Zakariyya Mansoor. In addition he said that there are divisions along the lines of politics and religion but it should not be the case. He said that if not we will have to worry later.
In addition he said that the citizens of Maldives loves MNDF and Maldivians have been showing that during times of crisis like the 2004 tsunami.
