Indian Defence Attaché’ to Maldives, Prasanth Handhoo has congratulated and praised MNDF on the occasion of Victory Day.
In a message given to Miadhu News, he said that 3rd November 1988 was a sad day for Maldives. He said that terrorists attacked the country and it was a terrifying day. Captain Prasanth said that on that day Maldivian soldiers showed their courage and capability. He said that the work done by Indian and Maldivian soldiers in defending the sovereignty of Maldives is an exemplary feat.
Captain Prasanth said that the Indian Army acted on that day as if their own country was under attack. He said that the joint operation of Maldivian and Indian army showed the brotherly relations between the two nations.
