Fathimath Sameera the staff nurse grade 2 in charge of OT has won the employee performer of the year award at ADK Employee Performance Award 2017.
In a ceremony held at Ghiyaasuhdheen School last night, the award was handed to Sameer by Health Minister Abdullah Nazim Ibrahim.
Sameera won an all expenses paid trip London for two people, 15,000 Rufiyaa a commemorative badge, sash, and a certificate of recognition.
Sameera has been working for ADK for 23 years. ADK is the largest and the oldest private hospital in the Maldives.
Speaking to Miadhu News, Sameera said that it was an honor to work at a hospital like ADK and that she thanks the management of ADK for the opportunity. In addition she said that she always try to work closely with those who come to get their services.
