Appeal hearing of Faaris Maumoon regarding his detention has been postponed. It was to be held today however, Faaris requested to postpone the hearing because he did not get time to meet with his legal team.
Meanwhile, the Criminal Court has also delayed the hearing of Faaris Maumoon’s bribery case. The detention appeal case was completed before however since there was a change in the bench of the judges presiding over the case, near hearings have been scheduled.
Faaris Maumoon is being charged for bribery and hearings are going on in the criminal court. In addition, Faaris is also being charged for identity theft, for using the logo and flag of PPM without permission.
