Former President Maumoon Abul Gayyoom have said that he is working for reform and that he will remain steadfast in doing this work.
Speaking at a gathering held by the opposition last night, Maumoon said that the opposition parties consists of reformers. He said that the incompetency of the government is further revealed every day.
Furthermore he said that all acts that are unconstitutional will be invalid. He said that even the president should act in accordance with the constitution. Maumoon said that if the 10 parliament members actually lost their seats it is the Supreme Court which should make the decision.
