A breast cancer awareness session has been held in Male’ last night.
The session was held in the meeting room of Youth Center and information was given by Professor Supakon Rojananin of Bangkok Hospital.
In the session, information about early signs of breast cancer, and measures that needs to be taken were explained by the professor. In addition the professor explained how to take preventive measures as well.
Speaking at the session he said that the most important thing is to raise awareness and noted that in Maldives people are not that aware about breast cancer.
