Adhalath Party has officially decided to support a coalition government in presidential elections.
In a statement issued by the party last night, they stated that the party’s top council has passed a resolution to support a national unity government.
Even though AP has made a decision to support a unity government, other opposition parties have not made any such decision.
In addition, the statement by AP states that the government has halted the functioning of the parliament and are intimidating all independent institutions. AP stated that they decided to support a coalition government to save Maldives from this calamity.
