Maldives has expressed interest in taking part in making important international decisions.
Foreign Minister Dr.Asim revealed this while speaking at meeting held at Bandos Island to give information about the achievements of Maldives with regard to sustainable development to ambassadors from 8 countries.
Dr.Asim said that even though Maldives is a small country, Maldives has fulfilled international responsibilities and obligations in the past.
Maldives has been campaigning for a seat in UN Security Council.
