Cambridge university have stated that the education system of Maldives is an example for other countries.
Speaking at the opening ceremony of 4th International Teachers Conference, Dr.Rathinesh Kumar of Cambridge University Press said that the results shown by Maldives in attaining various goals in educational development is an example for other countries.
Dr.Rathinesh praised slogans such as “leaving no child behind” used by the Education Ministry.
He said that he visited Huraa School this year and he highlighted what he saw from there. He said that the teachers had a comprehensive approach and that is very notable. He said that he experienced this is other schools as well.
Dr.Rathinesh also noted the work done by the schools in instilling the importance of nation building in the minds of the students.
