Deputy Leader of JP, Abdullah Riyaz have said that there are 12 MPs who cannot enter the parliament because the Supreme Court has not issued a clear verdict, and if these members are allowed to enter the parliament then a fair budget for all the people of Maldives can be made.
Speaking to the press at M.Kunooz today, he said that if these 12 MPs can enter parliament then the opposition will have majority and can work on a fair budget. He said that they lost this opportunity because of the Supreme Court. He said that the government prevented these 12 MPs from entering the parliament to do such things.
Riyaz said that it is a crime to prevent these MPs from entering the parliament and those involved will be held accountable one day.
He said that such problems can be solved when there is justice in the society.
