Dr.Aseel have said that to provide better health services at IGMH, they need more space and training.
Speaking at a function held to mark the world prematurity day, Dr.Aseel said that they are doing all they can to ensure that new born babies are in good health. He said that despite the challenges they have they are successful in their work.
Dr.Aseel also talked about the financial challenges they face to conduct trainings. He said that the hospital can be developed by training the staffs and hence they need the help of donor agencies.
Babies who are born before 37 weeks are considered as premature. Records show that 8-10 percent of the babies are born prematurely. A survey conducted by IGMH shows that 8 percent babies delivered at IGMH were premature.
