Jobs at Thinadhoo Hospital has doubled, and new services have been introduced: Health Minister
Health Minister Abdullah Nazim have said that number of doctors at Thinadhoo Hospital has doubled and new services have been introduced by the current administration.

Speaking at a rally held at Thinadhoo by PPM tonight, the minister said that number of doctors have increased to 24 from 12 and number of nurses have increased to 78 from 52. He said that administrative jobs have also been increased and the jobs were given to people from Thinadhoo and nearby islands.

Furthermore he said that Thalassemia testing services were introduced at Thinadhoo Hospital in 2016 and dialysis service was introduced in 2015. “All these services were established after spending millions and it was done by the current government” said minister Nazim.

Minister Nazim said that Maldives was a sovereign nation even when Christopher Columbus discovered America, but it was this government who started providing fundamental services like water and sewage systems to the people.
