National Scout Council has elected Hussein Mohammed Haneef as the President and Ismail Rifaau as the Vice President.
They were elected to this position during the annual general assembly of Maldives Scouts Association which was held last night.
In addition, during last night’s meeting, Abdullah Waheed was elected as the treasurer and Aishath Ahlaam, Ahmed Nasheed, Ismail Ali, Aminath Thahmeena and Hussein Javaadh were elected as adult members.
Furthermore, Ahmed Ali Manik and Mohammed Khalid were elected as permanent members of Scout Council for a three year period.
