Education Ministry has begun a scheme to develop human resources at higher educational institutions. The scheme is part of the 5-year master plan of the government aiming to improve the quality of higher education in Maldives.
The scheme will focus on training capable people to teach in degree and masters programs conducted in the Maldives. Education Ministry has identified areas of need and has open the opportunity for 2 people from each higher educational institution in the Maldives to apply for training.
Those who complete the training through this scheme should serve the institutions they get nominated from after they finish their studies.
