Embassy of Saudi Arabia in Maldives has given monetary assistance to 5-year-old Ashham who memorized Quran.
In a meeting held at Saudi Embassy, Ashham was given money and other assistance for studies.
He was given USD 1000 and also the embassy arranged Ashham to attend the autism center in Hulhumale’ for free. In addition, the embassy donated two expensive wrist watches to his parents for their hard work.
Ashham recited some verses of the Quran in the meeting.
Ashham is now getting ready to recite the Quran for Islamic Ministry officials and to obtain the certificate of Haafiz officially.
