President Yameen have said that the opposition has also analyzed the budget and that they have a difference in opinion about the government’s approach.
Speaking at the National Youth Award ceremony held last night, in response to the statements made by the opposition against taking loans, the president said that Velana International Airport was developed after taking loans.
President Yameen said that to solve the many problems faced by the nation, taking loans is important and if loans are not taken the development desired by the people cannot be achieved. He said that if the government has a way to repay the loans, then borrowing is not a problem.
President said that it will not be possible to develop the country without taking loans. He said that the people will benefit from development brought to the country using the money from the loans.
