Youth Minister Iruthihsam Adam have said that the aim of the government is to empower the youth and increase their involvement.
She made this statement while speaking at the closing ceremony of the Youth Forum. She said that the mega development projects conducted by the government will create job opportunities and entrepreneurship opportunities for the youth.
She said that the government is planning to establish a medical university in Maldives next year. She also said that a record number of scholarships will also be given next year. The minister said that she got important ideas from the participants from the forum about the role they can take in the development process of the country.
The purpose of the youth forum held on the occasion of national youth day was to increase the participation of youth in the developmental process of the country.
