Maldives Meteorological Center has advised to take precaution while travelling even though the weather conditions have improved. They stated that the seas will still be rough.
The storm is now moving away from Maldives and northern atolls will experience bad weather conditions according to the MET office.
The office said that wind speed will be between 13 – 23 miles per hour from west to south west.
