Gender Ministry has appointed three goodwill ambassadors. They were appointed during a ceremony held at Hotel Jen today to mark the international day of people with disabilities.
The goodwill ambassadors are, Zihnath Hassan, Ahmed Ansam and Mariyam Saznee. They will work as goodwill ambassadors for the next two years.
Speaking at the ceremony, Gender Minister Zeneesha Shaheed Zaki said that the three goodwill ambassadors have worked at a national level to help people with disabilities and they have won awards for their work. She said that they have worked very hard in the sector in their individual capacities as well.
