The political councilor at Chinese Embassy in Maldives Yang Ying have said that China will encourage Maldives in developing the nation and that China will be with Maldives.
Speaking at the ceremony held yesterday at Hulhumale’ to handover the 1500 housing units developed by CMEC of China, she said that it is the 45th anniversary of China-Maldives relations and noted that both countries are developing at a fast pace.
“China will always work with Maldives. All our endeavors will benefit citizens of both nations” said Yang. In addition Yang said that China will help Maldives to conduct developmental projects and the 704 flats developed in the first phase of Hulhumale’ by CMEC is also a good sign of the friendship between the two nations.
