Speaker of the parliament, Abdullah Maseeh have said that all countries should have equal and fair opportunities in trade.
He made this statement while speaking at a meeting held at Argentina by IPU and EU parliament.
MP Nihaan who is also taking part in the meeting said that since Maldives has signed a free trade agreement with one of the largest economies in the world, such meetings are important to Maldives. He said that parliament members will benefit from such meetings.
World Trade Organization organizes a meeting for parliamentarians every year to give them more information about trade.
