State Minister at Education Ministry, Dr.Abullah Nazeer have encouraged youths to apply for the 2050 scholarships that are going to be announced by the government.
He said that the government wants to train Maldivians who are capable to do all the jobs in Maldives. So far, this administration has provided 6000 educational opportunities, spending more than 1 billion Rufiyaa. This is a record amount in the history of Maldives.
President Yameen have stated that he is conducting mega projects in the Maldives, not to provide job opportunities for foreigners but for Maldivians.
Many jobs in the Maldives are done by foreigners. Some people complain that Maldivians are not hired for some jobs.
