MNDF and Indian army will begin a joint training program tomorrow.
The name of this training program is “Ekuverin” and will be conducted in Belgam, Karnataka State. According to Indian newspapers the training will last for two weeks and the purpose of the training is to share the experience of counterterrorism operations.
Indian army and Maldivian Defense Forces conduct joint training programs from time to time. Last December a training was held in L.Kahdhoo.
