Malaysian Foreign Ministry have stated that, the visit of Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Abduh Razzaq to Maldives will strengthen the relations between the two countries.
In PM Najib’s visit to Maldives he will sign agreements related to health, tourism, fire safety and higher education. In addition discussions will be held about increasing trade relations between the two countries. The two leaders will also discuss about the investment opportunities in Maldives for Malaysian businesses. Some areas Malaysia is interested in investing includes health and tourism sector. The leaders will also talk about some regional issues.
This will be the first official visit of the Malaysian PM to Maldives and he is visiting on an invitation by President Yameen.
Relations between both the countries will strengthen as a result of PM Najib’s visit to Maldives : Malaysia
