Government has decided to send 103 nurses from Maldives to Trivandrum to get practical experience.
Nurses were sent on training to India few months back as well. India provides the most training opportunities for Maldivians.
Government aims to have 100% Maldivian nurses in all hospitals across the Maldives. Under this project, recently the government announced training opportunities for 600 nurses.
