Hard Rock International to develop a hotel in Maldives!

Hard Rock International have announced that the company will be opening a Hard Rock Café and a Hard Rock Hotel in the Maldives on 1st October 2018.

The hotel and the café’ will be developed at Emboodhoo Lagoon, which will be the first integrated resort destination in the Maldives. Hard Rock International is collaborating with Singha Estate of Thailand, the developers of the Emboodhoo Lagoon.

Emboodhoo Lagoon is located just 20 minutes by speed boat from Velana International Airport. Over 300 million dollars will be invested in the first phase of the project and Hard Rock Hotel will be one of the three hotels developed in the first phase. The hotel will have 178 guest rooms, villas, and over-water villas.

According to Hard Rock International, Hard Rock Hotel Maldives will have contemporary design features with tropical architecture throughout the property with regionally inspired authentic music memorabilia. The hotel will also offer guests with exclusive brand offerings and amenities such as complimentary use of Fender guitars and Crosely record players for in-room am sessions.

It is expected that Hard Rock Hotel Maldives will create more than 350 jobs and the entire integrated resort will create an additional 1250 further stimulating the Maldivian economy.
