President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has this morning departed on a three day visit to South Miladhunmadulu Atoll, Fadhihpolhu Atoll and South Malhosmadulu Atoll.
During his visit to South Miladhummadulu Atoll, the President will inaugurate the harbour at Maalhendhoo, Holhudhoo and Velidhoo Islands; officially open the Maalhendhoo mosque; and inaugurate sewerage services in Hen’badhoo Island.
The President will then visit Hinnavaru Island of Faadhippolhu Atoll, where he will inaugurate services for clean drinking water. As part of his current tour, the President will then visit South Maalhosmadulu Atoll, where he will inaugurate the harbour at Kendhoo Island, and take part in the ceremony to mark the completion of the land reclamation project and the beach protection project in Eydhafushi Island. The President will also inaugurate the harbour and take part in the ceremony to mark the completion of the beach protection project in Thulhaadhoo Island.
