President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has inaugurated the services for clean drinking water in Hinnavaru Island of Faadhippolhu Atoll.
The drinking water supply system in Hinnavaru uses 2 plants to produce 80 cubic metre of water per day.
The President is currently on a three day visit to South Miladhummadulu Atoll, Fadhihpolhu Atoll and South Maalhosmadulu Atoll.
As part of his tour the President visited Maalhendhoo Island, Hen’badhoo Island, Holhudhoo Island and Velidhoo Island yesterday; and inaugurated the harbor and the mosque in Maalhendhoo, attended the groundbreaking of sewerage system in Hen’badhoo and inaugurated the harbor in Holhudhoo and Velidhoo.
