Leader of JP, Qasim Ibrahim have said that he will not back out from the reform movement even if he is forced to stay away from the Maldives.
He made this statement via twitter on the occasion of the new year.
He said that this year began at a time when he is forced to live miles away from Maldives for medical treatment after being sentenced to jail unjustly. He sqaid he was sentenced against Maldives constitution and international norms.
In addition Qasim assured that he will continue in his involvement in the reform movement. He also said that 2018 will be year where the people will be able to make a lawful decision and he asked the people to be ready for it.
