Commissioner of Police Ahmed Areef has appointed Chief Superintend of Police Hamdhoo Rasheed as the commander of the presidential election that is going to be held this year.
He was appointed to the position yesterday. Maintaining security of the presidential elections and ensuring a smooth election is among the operational priorities of Maldives Police Service this year.
