Secretory General of UN Antonio Guterres calls to implement the Supreme Court verdict

Secretory General of the United Nations, Antonio Guterres has called to implement the Supreme Court verdict ordered to free political detainees and reinstate the 12 MPs who were unseated previously.

He issued a statement saying that a solution can only be found when all parties respect the Supreme Court verdict. He asked to implement the verdict as soon as possible.

In addition to UN, EU, US, UK, Canada and India also urged Maldivian authorities to implement the Supreme Court verdict.
