Deputy Leader of JP Ameen Ibrahim have said that MD of Villa Group and Qasim Ibrahim’s son Siyad Qasim is being detained at Dhoonidhoo to hurt Qasim Ibrahim.
Ameen said that the government arrests innocent people under different charges during different seasons. He said that during the early days of the government people were arrested on terrorism charges and they were sentenced under these charges.
He said that this is the season of “corruption” and “bribery” and that everyone is being arrested under those charges.
Siyad has never taken part in any political activities. He does not even have any relations with politicians. He has never taken part in a rally with Qasim Ibrahim even. Ameen Ibrahim has been expressing concern regarding Siyad’s arrest.
