Former Vice President of the Maldives Dr.Jameel, Maleeh Jamaal, Abdullah Ameen, Dr.Shaah Mahir and former state minister at Defence Ministry Mohammed Ahmed Manik have joined Jumuhoory Party.
Dr.Jameel said that after the first round of the 2013 elections, Qasim joined PPM to do something sincere for the nation. He said that Qasim got many offers but joined PPM with the intention of doing something good for the nation.
They joined JP officially in a ceremony held at Frankfurt, Germany.
