Dunya Maumoon, the state minister at Health Ministry has tweeted asking to release her father former President Maumoon Abdul Gayyoom. In her tweet she tagged world leaders including Donald Trump, Indian PM Modi, UN Secretory General, and some other leaders.
In her tweet she asked the authorities to provide medical care for her father and to allow him to meet with family and lawyers.
