Former CP Ahmed Areef’s passport has been confiscated.
According to sources, his passport was withheld the day he was dismissed from his position. No official authority has explained why his passport is being withheld
According to Attorney General Anil, he was dismissed from his position because he did not answer calls made by President Yameen after the Supreme Court verdict of 1st February.
