The secretariat of the parliament has informed parliament members that an extraordinary session of the parliament will be held at 9:00 am tomorrow. The 12 MPs who were previously unseated by the Elections Commission were also informed about the session.
However, the agenda of the session has not yet been revealed to any of the parliament members. The state of emergency will expire tomorrow night and hence some MP’s suspect that tomorrow’s parliament session will be used to extend the state of emergency. According to the law, once a state of emergency is declared the statement should be sent to the parliament within 48 hours. However so far a parliament session has not been held.
Meanwhile many opposition MPs are being summoned to the police and many wonder if most of these MPs can take part in tomorrow’s parliament session.
