Adeeb’s lawyer Hussein Siraj have said that Maldives Police Service has searched Adeeb’s jail cell in Dhoonidhoo after he was suspected of calling parliament members from his jail cell.
Siraaj said that the police suspected him of calling PPM MPs and asking them to go against the government. “A phone cannot be used in the cell and I do not know why they are searching his cell while knowing this” said Adeeb’s lawyer Siraaj.
