Former ACP Abdullah Fairooz have said that the senior officers at the police has to report directly to President Yameen now and hence he is the new Commissioner of Police.

Fairooz said that DCP Abdullah Nawaz reports directly to President Yameen regarding administrative affairs of Police, meanwhile ACP Hamdhoon Rasheed informs the president about all operations. In addition he said that ACP Ahmed reports to the president about all investigation.

He said that hence the real CP is now President Yameen.
