Former President Maumoon, two justices of the Supreme Court, former CP Areed and four parliament members have been charged with terrorism.

In the on going hearing at the Criminal Court former President Maumoon, Justice Abdullah Saeed, & Justice Ali Hameed has been charged with terrorism.

In addition, the PG has decided to charge MP Abdullah Riyaz , MP Faaris Maumoon, MP Sinaan and MP Ilham with terrorism ss well.

Furthermore former CP Areef is also being charged with terrorism.

Remand hearings of high profile detainees are going on today.
